Al agrupar las proteínas, la síntesis miofibrilar fue mayor que con carbohidrato solo, pero no hubo diferencias significativas entre proteína de leche, whey y caseína durante la recuperación medida.
No comparó el mismo batido preparado con agua frente a leche, fue un estudio agudo y solo incluyó hombres jóvenes. Las diferencias de textura, energía y tolerancia de bebidas reales quedan fuera de este diseño.
